What if your car brand took care of the costs of repairing a parking collision?
BYD's new God's Eye system allows the car to park itself... and if there is a bump, the brand covers all the expenses. No insurance, no scares, no surprises.
Can you imagine if, after a bump when parking, you didn't have to call insurance or pay anything? That's exactly what BYD proposes with its new autonomous driving system: a car that parks itself... and that vouches for you if something goes wrong. It sounds like science fiction, but it's about to become a reality in China.

Level 4 autonomous parking
BYD has announced the deployment of a new Level 4 (L4) autonomous parking functionality for its God's Eye ADAS system, which will arrive via an OTA (over-the-air) update in the coming months. This level of autonomy allows the car to complete parking maneuvers on its own, without the need for driver intervention, provided the right conditions are met.
BYD takes care of the damages
The most innovative thing about this technology is not only its maneuverability, but the brand's commitment: BYD will take full responsibility for any incident that occurs during a parking maneuver with the system activated.

This includes:
- Vehicle repair
- Damage to third parties
- Personal Injury Settlements
- In the event of an accident, the driver will be able to contact BYD's technical service directly, without the need to initiate a report with their insurer, which avoids affecting future insurance premiums.
Global Standards and Legal Coverage
The brand claims that its system complies with international standards for autonomous driving. The manufacturer legally agrees to take the blame in any legal proceedings when it is proven that the fault is with the system and not with the user.
Extended and expanding technology
The God's Eye ADAS system was launched in February 2025 and has already been installed in more than one million vehicles, including affordable models such as the BYD Seagull. BYD assures that this next update will be the most important to date, with improvements not only in parking, but also in active safety and driving assistance.
With this promise, BYD becomes the first brand to offer full coverage against failures of its autonomous driving system in parking maneuvers. This could be a turning point for the entire automotive industry and place new demands on traditional manufacturers.
